Santa María de Ipire, May 6, 2026 — With the firm commitment to bring first aid training to all of Venezuela, the Venemergencia Foundation joined forces with Silvia Maestre, Miss Supranational Venezuela, and her social impact initiative to conduct a comprehensive health training session for the student body and families of the Henri Pittier School in Santa María de Ipire, Guárico state.
Basic Life Support Training
The event, organized in partnership with Miss Venezuela, aimed primarily to train 70 children, as well as teachers and parents, through the Venemergencia Foundation’s Basic Life Support program. This training will enable members of the school community to become first responders in critical situations, fostering a culture of prevention and immediate care.
Additionally, the event featured a mobile clinic and its team of professionals, who worked alongside the Foundation’s instructors. Together, they provided theoretical and practical knowledge on fundamental life-saving techniques, adapting the language for the youngest participants while also offering technical tools to the adults present.
Partnerships that promote health and prevention
For her part, Silvia Maestre highlighted the importance of these partnerships in expanding the reach of her social project: “Having the support of Venemergencia and the Venemergencia Foundation during the community event was an incredible and very meaningful experience. Thanks to their participation, we were able to serve more than 200 people in the community, including children, parents, and teachers; their dedication to service made a huge difference in the lives of each person who benefited.”
Finally, with this initiative in Guárico state, the Venemergencia Foundation reaffirms its mission to save lives and its commitment to building safer communities throughout the country.
