Caracas, February 2026.—As part of the Second Young Leaders Forum, organized by Fedecámaras, Dr. Andrés Simón González-Silén, executive director and founding partner of Venemergencia | Urgent Care, participated as a panelist in the discussion and dialogue session “Impact and Change: Voices of the Future,” a session aimed at young entrepreneurs and students interested in learning about the experiences, decisions, and lessons of leaders who have s쳮ded in innovating and growing their businesses in Venezuela.
Youth Leadership and Business Innovation
During his remarks, Dr. González-Silén highlighted the importance of education as the foundation for future leadership and the development of purpose-driven initiatives. “Education and training play a fundamental role in building the future, as they enable the development of ideas with a positive social impact for Venezuelans and the provision of the service that everyone deserves,” he stated.
He also emphasized the value of leading with purpose, building resilient organizations, and embracing social responsibility as the cornerstone of business growth, especially in an environment where young people play a key role in the country’s economic and social transformation. He concluded by stating that “the companies that have been founded and grown in Venezuela in recent years have done their best given the circumstances they faced, but now is the time to think about the extraordinary.”

The panel was moderated by María Alejandra Contreras and also featured Mauricio Mundó, founder of Estei; Whitney Sham, CEO of MaxGlow; and Gerson Gómez, founder of Ridery, who shared their perspectives on innovation, sustainability, and business growth, as well as the challenges and opportunities they faced while developing business models that make an impact in the country.
