Caracas, June 2026 –. In an effort to transform the way Venezuelans access medical information, Grupo Venemergencia has implemented a new digital communication strategy through a series of Instagram Live sessions. This initiative not only aims to provide greater access to health information but also to build a direct bridge between specialists and patients, offering technical and scientific guidance while humanizing and professionalizing the approach to health topics in the digital environment.
The proposal stems from the marketing team’s analysis of the need to humanize technology. María Alejandra Medina, the organization’s marketing director, emphasizes: “We want people to understand that today’s technology enables quality care regardless of distance. Our goal is for users to overcome their fear of telemedicine and understand how to address health concerns and treat conditions from home.”
A Channel for Reliable Medical Information
For Dr. Luis Enrique Velásquez Díaz, founding partner and chief operating officer of Grupo Venemergencia, this platform is an invaluable opportunity to “put a face” to the medical team that cares for patients using Venemergencia’s services on a daily basis. Dr. Velásquez emphasized that these sessions serve as a source of guidance: “The idea is for people to obtain validated, scientific information, avoiding reliance on anecdotal advice that science has shown to be ineffective. We want to teach them how to identify warning signs, when to seek a consultation, and which tests to undergo depending on each case.”
However, Dr. Luis clarified that “these live streams are an additional information channel; they do not replace in-person consultations or telemedicine care specific to individual cases.”
Following the success of the cardiology sessions with Dr. Daniel Vielma and the pediatrics sessions with Dr. Linifer Lobo—which drew more than 80 participants to each livestream—the group is preparing its next session dedicated to orthopedics.
The short-term goal is to organize multidisciplinary panels featuring up to three specialists simultaneously, including doctors based in different regions of the country, thereby reaffirming Grupo Venemergencia’s position as an innovative company that leverages technology to strengthen its connection with its users.
