The strategic partnership, coordinated in collaboration with the Venezuelan-Japanese Chamber of Commerce, brings together technical and humanitarian capabilities to provide comprehensive medical care, diagnostic services, and psychological support to the residents of La Guaira following the recent earthquakes.

Caracas, July 6, 2026 – As part of a joint effort to strengthen primary health care in La Guaira state, Venemergencia, in partnership with the humanitarian organization Peace Winds Japan and the Psicodata team from UCAB, held a comprehensive health outreach event in Los Corales. The event, organized through the efforts of the Venezuelan-Japanese Chamber of Commerce (CAVEJA), provided general medical consultations, diagnostic imaging services, and free psychological support to the community affected by the recent earthquakes.

As part of this effort to strengthen primary care, general medical consultations were provided to attendees. The scope of the event was enhanced by the support of Peace Winds Japan, a humanitarian organization with extensive experience in disaster response, which is currently carrying out an aid mission in Venezuela following the recent earthquakes. Thanks to this strategic partnership, the event included free ultrasound and X-ray services, significantly expanding the diagnostic capabilities available to patients.

Furthermore, as part of a holistic health approach that addresses both physical and emotional well-being, a psychological support program was integrated in partnership with the Psicodata team from the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB), offering support and coping tools to the beneficiaries.

Coordination and Institutional Support

The execution of this mission is made possible by the liaison efforts of the Venezuelan-Japanese Chamber of Commerce (CAVEJA), an institution that facilitates logistical and operational coordination between international organizations and local partners. Recently, CAVEJA formalized a cooperation agreement with Venemergencia, combining technical and operational capabilities to expand the reach of Peace Winds’ humanitarian work in Venezuela.

This coordinated effort between the private sector, academic organizations, and CAVEJA’s international support reaffirms the commitment of all involved to provide timely, high-quality healthcare solutions to the communities that need them most.
