Venemergencia Awards PaTi from PsicoData in the Ideas Competition

Caracas, November 13, 2025.– During the awards ceremony for the Ideas Competition, Venemergencia, a leading provider of medical care and health technology in Venezuela, reaffirmed its commitment to entrepreneurship by awarding the Venemergencia Special Prize to the “PaTi” initiative by PsicoData Venezuela, a project of the School of Psychology at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB).

This award, presented for the fourth consecutive year, highlights projects that use technology to make healthcare more accessible to all Venezuelans, a fundamental pillar of Venemergencia’s mission.

Dr. Luis Enrique Velazquez, founding partner and Chief Operating Officer of Venemergencia, presented the award and highlighted the importance of partnerships built on a shared purpose: “When we talk about health, we must not limit ourselves to the physical aspect alone, but must also encompass the biological, psychological, and emotional dimensions. That is why we are pleased to present the special Venemergencia award to Psicodata Venezuela, because through this initiative they focus on mental health care, completing a holistic view of the person. Without a doubt, it is a tool that, through technology, provides greater access to healthcare.

In turn, Father Danny Daniel Socorro, S.J., Director of the School of Psychology at Andrés Bello Catholic University and Coordinator of PsicoData Venezuela, expressed his gratitude and highlighted the importance of joining forces between both organizations: “This recognition fills us with hope because we share the same purpose, which is to democratize healthcare in every corner of Venezuela. Furthermore, it is extremely important for us to be able to create partnerships between PsicoData and Venemergencia that allow us to bring comprehensive well-being to those who need it most and transform lives with true human compassion.”

This recognition aligns with Venemergencia’s vision to continue innovating so we can always stand by the patient’s side, promoting a more humane, accessible, and efficient healthcare ecosystem for everyone.

“PaTi”: A Triple-Impact Mobile Solution

The winning initiative, “PaTi,” is a mobile application with a triple impact (social, economic, and environmental) proposed by PsicoData Venezuela. The project focuses on offering high-quality psychological services, ensuring that care is based on the specific needs of the Venezuelan context and incorporating continuous evaluation of the impact of its services.

The jury recognized “PaTi’s” potential to democratize access to emotional and mental well-being, which are critical areas of health that are often difficult to afford or access in the country.

According to the project’s official documentation, PsicoData proposes two fundamental strategic lines of action:

  • Ensuring quality services grounded in the country’s real needs.
  • To constantly evaluate the impact of the services offered.
