Caracas, December 1, 2025.– With the firm commitment to fostering a future-oriented organizational culture, Venemergencia held the third edition of the Innóvate Competition, its internal innovation program designed to promote ideas that generate real value within the organization and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
The event, held in the Montejo Hall of the Institute of Higher Studies in Administration (IESA), was moderated by journalist María Laura García and brought together employees from different regions of the country in a space dedicated to learning, creativity, and collaborative development, reaffirming the company’s commitment to innovation as a cross-cutting priority.
The 2025 edition yielded figures reflecting the high level of participation and commitment from internal talent. A total of 14 teams, comprising 59 employees, presented proposals aimed at strengthening innovation within the organization, contributing their experience and strategic vision. The participants included 22 men and 37 women, demonstrating a diverse and complementary workforce. Additionally, 11 mentors closely guided the development of each initiative, providing guidance and methodological support. The event featured representation from 9 regional teams and 4 from Caracas, consolidating robust national participation that culminated in the recognition of a winning interregional team—a reflection of the value of collaborative work across locations.
The third edition of Innóvate welcomed initiatives aimed at process optimization, generating savings and operational efficiency, creating new products or services, attracting new customers, as well as proposals focused on community and sustainable development. In this way, the program establishes itself as a driving force that invites every employee, regardless of role or position, to contribute ideas with potential impact both within and outside the organization.
From the Human Resources Department, the program is conceived as a platform for comprehensive development. “Innóvate demonstrates to our team that innovation has no specific role or department. Any employee can contribute ideas that generate real improvements in operations, service, or sustainability, while developing skills that strengthen their professional and personal growth,” stated Verónica Martínez, Director of Human Resources at Venemergencia.
During the event, the outstanding work of the winning teams in the two categories recognized by the Innóvate Contest—Operational Development and Sustainability—was acknowledged. In the Operational Development category, the Catalizadoras del Cambio team emerged as the winner thanks to an incremental innovation proposal aimed at strengthening internal communication and organizational efficiency by expanding the institutional chatbot Vera into a centralized platform for strategic, operational, and employee experience information.
Meanwhile, in the Sustainability category, the Kairos team was recognized for the First Responder 2.0 project, an initiative that expands and strengthens the work being carried out by the Venemergencia Foundation in the areas of emergency response and community training. The proposal calls for the creation of a network of volunteers certified in first aid and emergency response medicine, integrated through a digital app that enables the provision of timely care in critical situations, especially in geographically vulnerable communities.
The results of the Innóvate 2025 Competition demonstrate the power of collaboration, the value of diverse perspectives, and the impact of a culture open to transformation. With this initiative, Venemergencia reaffirms its commitment to internal talent, continuous innovation, and the creation of solutions that drive a more accessible, efficient, and sustainable healthcare system for all Venezuelans.
