Victoria Specialized Medical Institute Joins the Urgent Care Partner Network in Maturín

Maturín, March 18, 2026 — The Victoria Specialized Medical Institute (IMEVCA) has officially joined the Urgent Care Partner Network, strengthening access to timely, safe, and reliable healthcare services for the eastern region of the country. This strategic integration aims to bring the citizens of Maturín and the surrounding areas closer to a care model based on efficiency and the resolution of emergencies in areas with high healthcare demand.

The Urgent Care Alliance Network continues its national expansion with the goal of transforming the Venezuelan healthcare system. In this regard, the incorporation of IMEVCA represents a fundamental step toward optimizing the healthcare response in the area, thanks to its state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to ensure continuous and safe care.

Strategic partnerships that strengthen the healthcare system

“It is an honor for us to forge ties with a company as successful as Venemergencia, which has brought an innovative vision and essential support to Venezuela’s healthcare system. This partnership with an organization boasting 22 years of experience and a sustained effort whose primary outcome is the well-being provided to the population is something that fills us with pride,” stated Nicólas José Ibrahim, a physician and partner at the institution.

Dr. Andrés Simón González-Silén, founding partner and executive director of Venemergencia, noted that they arrived in Maturín with great pride, honor, and commitment “to continue expanding a system that places the patient at the center of the entire operation. “This partnership demonstrates that what our country was missing is the ability to work together; today, 19 clinics operate under the same standard to ensure that Venezuelans have greater access to reliable healthcare,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, this care model is based on the premise that 80% of medical emergencies can be resolved without needing a hospital ER visit. Patients who come to IMEVCA under this model will receive efficient and cost-effective care, including services such as intravenous treatments, minor sutures, nebulization, and immobilization under standardized protocols.

Finally, this partnership reinforces both institutions’ commitment to providing a patient-centered healthcare experience in an environment designed for the comfort of patients and physicians. With the addition of this new partner, Venemergencia reaffirms its commitment to continuing to contribute to Venezuela’s economic, social, and human development.
