Provesalud Joins the Urgent Care Partner Network

La Guaira, February 12.— The Provesalud Medical Center, based in Catia La Mar, La Guaira state, has officially joined the Urgent Care Partner Network, strengthening access to timely, safe, and reliable healthcare services for communities in this coastal region and surrounding areas.

This partnership advances the Urgent Care Alliance Network’s national expansion strategy and brings a healthcare model based on value, efficiency, and timely resolution of emergencies to areas with high demand for care and strategic connectivity, such as Maiquetía.

Dr. Andrés Simón González–Silén, founding partner and CEO of Venemergencia, highlighted the importance of this addition to the network: “For Venemergencia and Urgent Care, it is a privilege to be at the Provesalud Medical Center facilities, taking on a challenge that began 22 years ago with the goal of offering better healthcare services to Venezuelans. Today, that commitment is becoming a reality with 16 urgent care centers across the country, thanks to the Urgent Care Partner Network, a model that demonstrates it is possible to work in partnerships aimed at promoting well-being and providing real solutions for the country.”

For his part, Francesco Emilio Luca, CEO of the Provesalud Medical Center, stated: “We are very pleased to welcome the entire Venemergencia team to our facilities to launch this new partnership, which brings with it a standardized medical care service aligned with our values and focused on offering a safe, timely, and high-quality experience for our patients.”

Infrastructure and Medical Capacity at the Service of the Community

The Provesalud Medical Center has an infrastructure that guarantees continuous and safe care, including 24-hour medical service, a power generator, a blood bank, free parking, and private security with closed-circuit surveillance. Furthermore, its location, just five minutes from Maiquetía International Airport, makes it a key hub for serving both local patients and travelers.

The institution has a medical team of more than 70 specialists covering 43 specialties and 10 specialized units, enabling it to provide a comprehensive response to various types of emergencies and clinical needs.

Urgent Care and its Regional Partners

The Urgent Care Partner Network currently has a presence throughout the country, with ten affiliated clinics that meet strict quality standards and care protocols. This model is based on a key premise: 80% of medical emergencies can be resolved without needing a hospital ER visit.

Urgent Care operates under a pioneering value-based healthcare model and incorporates a comprehensive emergency protocol that includes triage, diagnosis, on-site treatment, and clinical follow-up. Through this approach, patients receive efficient and cost-effective care, reducing wait times and optimizing healthcare system resources.

This model offers intravenous treatments, minor sutures, microsurgery, immobilization, nebulization, and specialized medical care, always following standardized protocols aimed at timely resolution.

The addition of Provesalud allows Venemergencia to reaffirm its commitment to continuing to strengthen the Urgent Care Partner Network and expand the coverage of emergency medical services in Venezuela.
