The Venemergencia Foundation, in collaboration with the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS) and Dr. Domingo Luciani General Hospital, held the Third Academic Conference, “Trauma: From the Scene to the Operating Room,” in Caracas; an educational event focused on sharing knowledge about the prehospital and medical-surgical management of patients with multiple traumas.

As part of the celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the School of Health Sciences, and thanks to an institutional partnership between the University of Carabobo and the Venemergencia Foundation, the campus’s first automated external defibrillator was unveiled, making the University of Carabobo a heart-safe zone.
